Computer Won't Turn On
Probably the most scary thing that can happen to your MAC or Windows computer is if it fails to turn on. You press the power button and nothing! No beeps, no clicks, no fan. The light on the monitor is on, but your computer is completely dead.

First of all, take a deep breath and don't panic! If there's one thing we've learned, panic doesn't help! At this stage all we know is that there is no power. Your documents, photos and music are probably safe, just not accessible at the moment. This computer problem shows that one of the hardware components have failed. Faulty Batteries, RAM sticks, hard drives, buttons, power supply, broken screen can all be causes of this issue. We'll help figure out which one it is.

Distinguished and Famous people from Barossa Valley

The Barossa's food and wine traditions have been shaped by migrants, growers, cooks and winemakers. These lives are connected with particular vineyards, businesses and communities, with local work preceding national recognition.

🍽️ Maggie Beer

Maggie Beer and her husband Colin moved to the Barossa Valley in 1973 and established a farm. Their Pheasant Farm Restaurant opened in 1979, building a reputation around seasonal produce and meals made from scratch. Cookbooks, food products and television later carried that approach to wider audiences. Her foundation also works to improve food in aged care. The Barossa supplied the farm and ingredients behind a public career in which good cooking has remained closely tied to place.

🍇 Peter Lehmann

Peter Lehmann's Barossa connections included schooling at Angaston, Light Pass and Nuriootpa and early winemaking work at Yalumba. He later became manager and winemaker at Saltram before establishing the Tanunda enterprise that became Peter Lehmann Wines. Its beginnings were closely tied to support for local grape growers during a difficult period in the industry. His name consequently represents relationships across vineyards and families as well as the wines carrying it on their labels.

🍇 Johann Gramp

Johann Gramp moved to Jacob's Creek in 1847 and planted a vineyard, producing his first wine in 1850. He expanded the vineyard and cellar while also participating in local civic life, including service on Barossa East District Council and support for a school at Rowland Flat. His son Gustav later developed the Orlando enterprise. Gramp's story connects early small-scale wine production with the growth of businesses and community institutions in the valley.
